Companies have been working towards aligning their business and strategies with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and integrating the SDGs into their strategies and plans. Bank of Beirut has become a member of the United Nations Global Compact with the purpose of abiding all internal sustainability-related initiatives to the 10 universal principles that fall under the umbrella of the 17 UN sustainable Development Goals.

In this regard, we endorsed these goals and mainstreamed them in our business by adopting the development, implementation and disclosure of responsible and sustainable corporate policies and practices. As a sustainable corporation, we seek to embrace, support and enact within our sphere of influence, a set of core values in the areas of human rights, labor standards, the environment and anti-corruption.
